The rattan used to create this masterpiece was sourced from an Indigenous community located in Chilapa de Alvarez, Guerrero, where it was carefully manufactured using time-honored techniques. The intricate handles, crafted using waxed thread, were created using the Macrame technique by skilled artisans in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, who have been perfecting their craft for generations. Each handle takes an average of 2 to 3 days to be meticulously handcrafted, ensuring every detail is perfect.
