What do we do?
As society becomes increasingly conscious of what we consume, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear, lili petit is taking things one step further. We believe in raising awareness about the sources, stories, and heritage behind the everyday items we wear. By connecting our patrons to the art and devotion of Indigenous communities through the artisanal-fashion market, we are able to preserve and share their history and customs across borders and generations.
For too many decades, the fashion industry has prioritized fast production and following trends, resulting in disposable products. At lili petit, we believe in creating designs that tell a story and touch people on a deeper level. Our brand stands out in an industry where fast fashion is the norm, as we craft our products with care and intention.
Through our brand we aim to create a more meaningful connection between our patrons and the Indigenous communities whose craftsmanship inspires our designs. By highlighting the stories and traditions behind our products, we hope to create a more sustainable and ethical approach to fashion, one that values quality, heritage, and community.

Our Relationships
We establish meaningful partnerships with Indigenous Mexican communities to create collections that celebrate their culture, while upholding our high standards for quality and ensuring that they receive fair compensation. Our philosophy of slow-design is grounded in our deep respect for our partners' time-honored artisanal techniques. We are committed to sustainable production practices and forging lasting partnerships.
Our ultimate aim is to collaborate with these communities to enhance their overall well-being. We aspire to forge many more relationships with Indigenous communities worldwide, sharing and discovering art across borders.

Our Sources
We take great pride in our collections, which are 100% handcrafted by Indigenous communities in the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Guerrero, and Chiapas - three of the country's poorest regions. Each product is meticulously crafted using traditional techniques, with every stage of the manufacturing process completed entirely within the community. From growing the raw materials to harvesting, weaving, stitching, and assembling the final product, the community is involved every step of the way. Our commitment to small-batch production ensures that we can maintain sustainable practices that do not disrupt the daily lives of the community members.
